Jaipur has been designed as a quilted jacket that can be worn all year round, thanks to its two versions: with or without sleeves. Of course, the pattern can be sewn in many other types of fabric: please see the “Fabric Advice” section below.
– Slightly oversized cut
– Cut-out with bias trim at mid-front + pockets
– Rounded neckline + hem
– Wear open OR closed (buttons or belted, for example)
– Lined bust
– Bias-finished quilted edges
– With or without sleeves
Size range: 32 to 52
Level: intermediate (the difficulty comes mainly from the thickness of the quilted fabric)
Languages: French AND English

Fabric used for patro
Indian quilted version: “Marari” from Merchant & Mills (very thick quilt) // 100% burgundy cotton bias
Sleeveless ecru quilted vest version: lightweight double-gauge quilt + ecru double-gauge bias (I’d recommend sticking with a classic bias, as double-gaze bias does present a few challenges 😉
